Jace Waters Foundation Speaks at Kiwanis Club
I was honored to be invited by Mary Nevitt to speak at the Kiwanis Club of Daphne and Spanish Fort. I shared Jace's story of addiction and his vision to help others struggling with the disease of substance use disorder (SUD). The Jace Waters Foundation was started with that goal in mind. I shared how important Transitional Living Houses were to our communities and that the Foundation has offered scholarships to over 30 men and women. These scholarships are given to help people who have completed a recovery program continue their recovery in sober living homes in our area. It is great to know the Kiwanis Club is also dedicated to impoving our communities. These dedicated men and women have helped our communities by their generous donations and work in the community with children, schools, food pantries and many other areas.
