Rotary Club Rocks!

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Robertsdale for allowing me to share with them the benefits of Transitional Living for those in recovery and the upcoming Hub City Classic.

Many with loved ones struggling with addiction think that going into treatment once will 'fix' their drug problem once and for all. Sadly, it usually takes several times into treatment, due to relapse. Researchers studying addiction have found that transitional living lowers the relapse rate.

Our mission with the Jace Waters Foundation is to help provide a sober, stable living environment for those completing a recovery program. The mission of the Rotary in helping communities through health and education is shown in their support of the Jace Waters Foundation.

One way to help people get into Transitional Living in our area is by supporting the Hub City Classic 5k/10k 1mile fun run. Our 2nd annual Run will be held February 9, 2019 at Garrett Park in Robertsdale, Alabama.

I enjoyed the interaction and discussion with members of the Rotary Club last Tuesday. Their questions and comments were knowledgeable and encouraging. Together we can build a stronger community.
